This course introduces students to the principles of teaching English learners. It addresses effective collaboration among English learners, their families, paraprofessionals, and the community to improve learning. Effective instructional techniques, Methodologies, resources and cultural awareness are also explored. Examination of culture and cultural diversity and the relationship to academic achievement, development, implementation, and evaluation of culturally inclusive instruction are covered.
