Take a look at our frequently asked questions below. Should you have further questions feel free to submit a question above, give us a call, or send an email.
The prerequisite for these graduate level courses is a 4-year degree.
You decide. However, each course requires a time log showing 45 hours spent on the various activities needed to complete the coursework.
Tuitions are non-refundable. If you do not complete the course there is no entry on your transcript.
We strongly recommend gaining prior approval from the appropriate department within your school district as they control the process for salary advancement.
Students need to have an internet connection to their computer and skills to do internet research, to download files, to compose answers to questions, and to make lesson plans.
Your registered courses are accessed under your profile page on our website www.teachersempowerment.net. You will be enrolled into the course within two days after you register with UOP. You will receive an email that gives instructions for navigating the website. If there is any problem on accessing the course files, just call (714-536-8700) or email fernzahlen@mac.com.
To enroll and pay for your courses please register an account on our website under the “Account” tab. Once you created a profile and are logged into our website a new tab called “Students” will pop up. Hover over the “Students” tab and click on “UOP Registration.” Please complete the form, select the courses you want, and pay for the courses on this form. The University of the Pacific receives your registration from this form and bills your credit card digitally like a point-of-sale transaction.
In order to make sure your credits are assigned to you, the University needs all the basic info: your name as used on your credit card and transcripts, mailing address, phone, email, birthdate, highest degree earned/where it was obtained, your current school district, and whether you were previously enrolled at the University of the Pacific.
Visa, Mastercard, Discovercard, and American Express cards are accepted.
If your credit card is declined due to insufficient funds on a debit card or a typing error the registration will not process. You will need to resubmit the registration when sufficient funds are available or with the error corrected.
We will email you your grade and submit it to the University. They will post it to your transcript and mail you an
unofficial transcript. Then you may order an official transcript from the National Student Clearinghouse at
https://www.studentclearinghouse.org.
Contact the University of Pacific at (209) 946-2424 to help you with any tax form related questions.
If any of your teacher friends need these classes, they can take them with you by self- registering as you did. Each student is responsible for reading the course materials and working on the assignments. After you share your new insights, each teacher must submit their individual work, time log and final exam from their separate personal
profile.
With self-registration, the University allows the student to set their own dates. Most choose the enrollment as the start date and allow about 30 days for the end date.
