Alcohol Abuse and Use Education

This course is designed to provide each participate with a working knowledge and understanding of the school’s role and interaction with students, parents and the community in the prevention and intervention of alcohol abuse. Emphasis will be placed on current alcohol use issues, and how alcohol use affects the entire family. A variety of teaching strategies will be utilized for teaching K through 12th grade. Participates will be able to evaluate media to be used appropriated in the alcohol education curriculum.
