Drug Education

3 Semester Units

This course is designed to provide each student with a working knowledge and understanding of the school’s role and interaction with students, parents and the community in the prevention and intervention of alcohol and other drug use. Emphasis will be placed on current alcohol and other drug use issues, and how alcohol and other drug use affects the entire family. A variety of teaching strategies will be utilized for teaching K through 12th grade.
